Building your dream pool is an exciting journey, and we’re here to guide you every step of the way. Here’s a breakdown of the Cloud 9 Pools process:
The Planning Stage
First contact: Once you email our office we will reply with a series of questions for you to answer so we get to know about your needs. We will then send out an estimate quote to you for your review.
Onsite meeting: Our experienced team, Rob and Glenn, will visit your property to discuss your vision for your pool. We’ll assess your backyard’s layout, soil conditions, and your lifestyle needs to provide tailored design recommendations.
Quote: Based on all of the information provided we’ll provide a detailed quote outlining the costs involved in bringing your dream pool to life
Preliminary Agreement: Once you’ve approved the quote, we sign a preliminary agreement to secure your spot in our build schedule.
Design and Approval: Our expert team will develop detailed engineering plans for your pool. These plans will then be submitted to the relevant Principal Certifying Authority for approval.
Contract Signing: Upon approval of the plans, we’ll finalise the contract and require a 5% deposit to commence the building process.
The Construction Phase
Excavation: Our team will excavate the pool area. This typically takes 3-4 days, depending on the site conditions.
Formwork and Steel Reinforcement: We then install the formwork and reinforcing steel to create the pool’s structure.
Plumbing Installation: Our plumbers install the plumbing system, including the skimmer box and pipes, within the steel reinforcement.
Concrete Shell: We create your pool’s shell by spraying concrete over the steel reinforcement. This concrete needs approximately 28 days to cure.
Tiling and Coping: After the concrete cures, we add the waterline tiles and coping to give your pool a finished look.
Fencing and Surrounds: We install the pool fence and any additional paving or landscaping around the pool area.
Interior Finish: We apply the chosen interior finish to your pool and fill it with water the following day.
Filtration System: We install and commission the pump and filter equipment, and establish the initial water chemistry balance.

Handover
Our team will provide a comprehensive handover, explaining how to operate your pool equipment, maintain water quality, and address any questions you may have.
Final Inspections
We’ll register your pool with the NSW Swimming Pool Register and arrange for a final inspection by a private certifier to ensure compliance with all regulations.
